Our March Social event will include a quiz, presented by member Jacky Pett.

Venue: the Dovetail Cafe

Time: 7.30 to 9.30 pm. Please allow time to arrive and meet your team (see below) before the event starts.

It will be for teams of between three and six (tba). Because many people don’t know other members, we will collect names in advance, and draw the teams (with or without your partner will be an option!). Full details will be sent in a members newsletter.

Jacky is mainly known to members for looking after the website. She compounds her nerdiness (she says) by being a quiz addict. Before she moved to Chandler’s Ford, she quizzed at her golf club for several years: the team she belonged to was eventually handicapped with a points deduction, after which Jacky took over running the club’s monthly quiz and setting the questions.

She is looking forward to adding more arty questions to her question selection. Her main aim is to make it a fun evening for all members.
