Rebecca provided an amazing Abstract Landscape Demonstration in July 2025 demonstrating her ‘fast and furious’ method of getting paint and texture onto a large canvas to create a spontaneous painting.

Rebecca’s journey as an artist is rooted in curiosity, play, and a love of colour. She graduated from the Surrey Institute of Art & Design in Farnham with a BA in Graphic Design and spent 10 years working as an Account Manager. In 2014, after maternity leave, she stepped away from her corporate career to focus on raising her family and exploring her creative side. What began as a hobby soon grew into a full-time art practice.

Rebecca has been a Wildcard Artist on Landscape Artist of the Year and was awarded the Theo Paphitis Small Business Sunday Award in 2021.

Anything Goes

Working in acrylic and mixed media, her mantra is “anything goes,” and she paints intuitively, letting each piece evolve naturally into landscapes, still life, or abstract works full of life and energy.

Through her workshops, Rebecca encourages artists of all levels to embrace experimentation, trust their instincts, and enjoy the process of creating. She believes anyone can make art when they let curiosity and play guide them.

In this workshop, Rebecca will guide you to explore acrylic and mixed media while creating a subject of your choice. Whether it’s a landscape, architecture, still life, or abstract shapes, the focus is on experimentation and discovery. You’ll be encouraged to follow your intuition, play with materials, and see where your creativity takes you. The aim is not perfection—it’s about connecting with what fills you with joy and bringing your ideas to life in a way that feels freeing, colourful, and uniquely yours.
