Jenny Muncaster – ‘Acrylic Workshop’
Some of you may know Jenny through The Colour Factory, based in Winchester and famous for the coloured painted bollards that are found in the City’s streets.

Jenny’s paintings possess a naïve charm and are both quirky and colourful, imbuing a sense of joie de vivre. She works on canvas or gesso board in acrylic and mixed media combining colour and technique to produce vibrant energetic, lively paintings. Her work includes memories of summertime with windows onto the English coast, special bottles of wine and favourite ingredients for the preparation of wonderful dishes. Her great sense of colour and her choice of subject matter appeals to art, food and wine lovers alike.
Join Jenny Muncaster’s fantastic fun workshop learning lots of fabulous techniques with acrylics. This is totally feelgood and definitely an uplifting day of creativity and colour!
A look at Acrylics: four different acrylics (soft body, heavy body, inks and fluid) ideas and inspiration for projects.
WOW effects with acrylics: Learn about water resist patterns and how to layer with paints, inks and print. Create amazing layering effects incorporating water a hairdryer, mark making, print, pattern and stuff from around the house.
Brush techniques with acrylics: Jenny will demonstrate some of her favourite brushes and some great techniques for creating dynamic interest in your art. Also useful for landscapes and layering. Go on to use these techniques for painting a flower meadow full of colour, texture and personality.
