Life of Plants

Discover a more fluid approach to botanical drawing which captures the movement and energy of the plant life. A variety of drawing materials and approaches will be used to demonstrate gesture and materiality. A wonderful way to bring plants to life on the page. 

About Elizabeth:

Elizabeth Hammond uses drawing to investigate seemingly conflicting objects and animals with different surfaces and textures. She brings together on a surface, incongruous objects and animals in order to highlight the inherent qualities of both, and their place of belonging. Through these incongruous compositions, a provoking and unusual narrative is created for the viewer.
