Church Hall adjacent to the Dovetail Cafe – Location
Kirstin last provided a well-received workshop aimed at beginners to watercolour in Jan 2022. In that workshop she taught us how to create a palette of colours using only the three primary ones and we all managed a painting at the end. Kirstin will show use this workshop to look at a variety of the favourite techniques used by experienced watercolourists, experimenting and making test patches, watching demonstrations and eventually creating a painting using some of what we have just learnt. She says “I am looking forward to being back with you all for this workshop.”
Biography: Big, loose, colourful paintings are Kirstin’s trademark style. She is a contemporary watercolour artist who enjoys painting on the spot. Consequentially she can be found working as an event painter, typically painting watercolours at live wedding receptions, village fetes etc. You will find more information on Kirstin’s website
